It’s Saturday 12/10/11 @3:30pm in the bathroom where the hospital I worked, I heard in my left ear ringing in my ears. Same thing when i went home until now Tuesday 12/13/11 in the waiting area in Uegent Care waiting a Doctor to check my ear.

My tinnitus has been bad for about 3 years. I am posting this because I want to help people. This has helped my tinnitus. I have been taking klonopin 1 mg usually around 1 to 2 a day. I have found out that taking 2 benadryl before going to sleep does something to my tinnitus . I use just no name brand. I wake up the next morning with the ringing almost gone.
Good luck and Tinnitus can be overcome. also I use a App on Itunes called chillout and I put it on Indonesian rainforest and it masks it the best for going to bed or just put it on while at work. GodBless

I have had the ringing in my ears since I was about 13 years old. I was injured while playing football with my friends in the schoolyard. A friend fell on my head while I was on the ground. I was diagnosed with a concussion but not mention of tinnitus. There are times when the ringing is worse and it most difficult to deal with when it is quiet and no background noise to mask the ringing. being around loud noises also makes the ringing worse. I have not found any particular diet or pill that makes the ringing less noticeable. There are times that I find the ringing maddening and it is impossible to concentrate on anything. I continue to search for relief!

I’ve had tinnitus for 2 and a half years now. I’m averaging 4.5 hours sleep a night. I’m always tired, have become highly strung. My wife asked me to leave 7 weeks ago I have a 2, 4 and 6 y.o. I can’t do noise. My ears have become so sensitive. The only time the ringing has stopped was when I was in bed with the flu. Can you help?

since five year i was suffering from tinnitus i have done surgery twice but no use.nowadays its going very worst condition particularly my hearing and insomnia, Now i dont know where to go what to do its very difficult to live and communicate.i believe only god.please help me if any of you have any suggestion because iam only 25 years old.

it almost 4 years,i m suffering from tinnitus,,i don’t know what to do,,where to go..i went to many hospitals but till now nothing goes rite…now a day its going so badly,,,i loose hearing my left ear..and i feel spining,vomiting,,..i dont know what to do..this will b the person to whom it corncern.,please..help me to slove this problem..i want to live freely.plz.loosing the power of hearing is not big this for me i can atjust but the main thing is spining nad vomiting,,how to slove this problem plz

It is almost 30 years since it was diagnosed that I am having reasonable hearing loss. It became worse with passage of time. Lately the hearing loss became very acute. Along with that I started having Tinnitus also. At times the buzzing sound becomes very loud and at times less. I consulted an ENT surgeon who after audiometry and Tympanometry tests decided on Stapedectomy surgery. After surgery though hearing has improved a lot, almost normal, but Tinnitus continues. What should I do to cure Tinnitus ?
